It’s not really the first day of school because I’ve long given up on those photos.
Too much pressure, not enough time, clothes not right, lunch not made, hurry up and smile.
OMG. I wish first day of school photos were illegal.
So this is a 5th day of school… chocolate banana protein shake in hand… dressed for a service day… agreeing to pose.
Everything was great until he asked to see the photo.
Apparently, the photo above, “doesn’t even look like” him.
So, he took the phone, reached out his hand like all 16-year-olds do, and took this photo.
He’s happy.
I’ll take it.
